The kindle app is crap. Why do I have a limit to the amount of devices I can read my books on? Once I've reached that limit I have to purchase the book again? That's a rip off if you ask me. My kindle fire went crazy after one year. The screen has gone totally crazy. Now amazon wants me to repurchase books that I already paid for. I wouldn't advise anyone to purchase a book on kindle especially if it's a book you need to carry throughout your lifetime. People change devices all the time amazon.

I hate getting weird looks when I am reading questionable erotic Star Trek fan fiction in public. Thank goodness I can just read it on my phone now and let everyone think I'm doing something acceptable like checking out yelp reviews written by middle aged women on power trips.

What use is a book reading app that doesn't let you see the last couple of words in every line? Neither reinstalling or adjusting settings changes this.

Doesn't download when you've paid and are connected to WiFi or LTE. I hate that. They have my money but I don't have my book.

I love this app BUT!!!
Since the last update, every time I open a book it crashes. It asks if i want to send a report, but it crashes out before it lets me. I am on a Blue Life One 2015, this is the only app in my phone right now. Will update review when this is fixed.

With this latest update my Kindle app has a locked screen for some of my ebooks and I can't fix that by rebooting my phone!

I'm mad
I had books in my library, but when I logged back in they were gone. I paid for all of them and now all of my money has been wasted!

Um it disappeared from my phone...
So the app disappeared from my phone. It still shows up in my Google play as on my phone. I Uninstalled it and then reinstalled and it's still not appearing. I reset my phone and nothing...

Stops responding when I use windows button
I'll minimize the app to use something else, and when I try to come back to the app using the windows button, it won't open and brings me to my homepage. I'll have to reopen it to get to the page I was at.

Upgrade is not so great
The banner for new book that was orange is now black. Amazon, sometimes things are not always better to change for the customer. I loved the older version

The reader itself works well.
There is a great need for improvement outside of the actual reader- mainly in organization of the books on the device and of the store. Also- where'd the narration go?

Good except one major issue
This would be a five-star review except that the menu options while reading a book consistently fail to work. I'll tap the "menu" button on my phone to bring up the options, and those at the bottom of the screen work, but the buttons at the top of the screen - the ones controlling how the text appears or the settings - don't. It's as if they aren't even there; when I try to tap them, it acts as if I've tapped in the middle of the screen to remove the menu and go back to reading. That's a pretty big fail.
