Advanced Task Killer APK

The Most Classic Task Killer or Task Manager, Speed Booster, Battery Saver. Advanced Task Killer helps over 70 millions Phone. You can use it to kill applications and boost memory. It doesn't speed up or save battery directly. However if you kill any apps consuming battery or CPU, you might feel it speed up your phone and saved your battery.
*Services and front apps cannot be killed directly, you have to ignore or 'force stop' them*
-Ignore List
-One tap widget
-Auto kill
-Customize item height

ATK is often used to kill app and clean memory. We do suggest people use ATK manually kill apps instead of auto killing app.

1. How to use it (for new users to quick start)?

ATK is pretty simple. Open this tool and take a look at the running applications list? Uncheck some apps you don't want to kill (such as Advanced Task Killer and some system apps) Tap the button 'Kill selected apps', it will kill all applications checked.

2. How to use it (for new users to do more)?

If you don't want to kill any app, you can tap it on the running applications list. Then it's checking box will turn to gray.

3. Why there are app running that I haven't used or even opened?

Some app will start up once you turn on your phone or be invoked by some events.

4. What is ignore list/ignore?

Ignore list is for you to ignore some app you don't want to kill. If you long press on the app listed on the main screen of ATK, the menu will pop up, then you can select 'Ignore', the application would be moved to ignore list. When you tap 'Kill selected apps', it won't be killed any more.

5. What is default action for long press?

You can set your default action for long press and click on the settings. The system default action for long press is pop-menu. That means you when you long press on the application (displays on the running applications list), a pop-menu would shows up. For example, if you want to switch to the application after you long press on it, you can set the default action of long press to 'Switch to'.

6. Why I lost my network connection after I tap 'kill selected apps'?

This is because some apps related with network connection are killed, such as 'voicemail'. You can ignore it instead of killing it.

7. Why my Home reloaded?

This is because some apps related with Home are killed. Such as 'HTC Sense', 'Mail'(if it is integrated with Home). You can ignore it instead of killing it.

8. Why I cannot receive notification of Email?

This is because you killed 'Email'. Instead of killing it, you need to ignore it.

9. What is Auto Kill?

If you want to kill apps automatically you need to choose one of auto-kill level

- Safe: Only kill the apps aren't running but still consume memory.

- Aggressive: Kill the apps running background and apps aren't running.

- Crazy: All apps except for apps you are using with.

You should be able to see Auto Kill information shows on the title, like 'Auto-Kill: 12:20'. That means auto kill will start at 12:20, you can also change the frequency to impact the auto kill start time.

App killer is only a tool to kill apps and task. It won't help your battery directly. But if you kill any app which consumes battery a lot, you might think app killer is helping your battery.
Advanced Task Killer Pro is paid version which doesn't contain ads.
Note: For android 2.2 and later version, task manager cannot kill services and front apps, you have to force stop them. If you use task manager to kill them, services might restart; also notification won't be erased from the top bar. So we don't suggest people use task manager kill them.

Doesn't work on nexus 6
Moved from moto maxx to nexus 6 and app stopped working. All I can kill is Advanced task killer, kind of a waste of cycles. Removing it today. Used to give it 5 stars.

No longer works
App no longer works after latest update. It only shows itself, no other apps are shown, even at lowest setting. Please sort it out, have been using it with no issues over past few years on different devices

Used to work!
Unfortunately this must have app has now become useless. After last update the app no longer lists ANYTHING running except itself on Android 5.1.1. I guess they couldn't leave well enough alone. I'll consider reinstalling if this issue is resolved.

Usually the first app on any new android device
This is great for closing the battery hogging bloatware that is on every android device that I have ever bought. It really does seem to prolong the battery although that is only my opinion, of course.

best task killer
ive been using this app since gingerbread! best thing about it, especially if youre concerned about your privacy is that it has no permissions at all. ive seen other apps similar to this one and they require some strange permissions. Great job guys!

Doesn't work after update
I updated my Nexus 5 recently. This app does not show any other running apps. I can tell they are not being killed because of available ram is low. Will change rating when fixed.

Not working.
It isn't detecting apps anymore. The only app shown running is itself even though I know I have at least 5 apps actively opened. Nexus 7 2013 5.1.1

What happened??
Since the new Android update this app has stopped working. No apps show up in the list to be killed. It's blank now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Doesn't work on the newest Android update (5.1.1 on nexus 5). Also it would be very nice if it could keep killing apps that keep restarting. Other than that it is a great app

Does not kill apps.
No matter how many times i go in to app and kill all apps running, the apps still run. I have to manually go into phone settings to turn apps off that were supposed to be shutoff with this app. Not worth downloading

Great..But One Thing
This app is great and it saves my battery but it just won't close my alarm clock. This is my new tablet, and I haven't open my alarm clock yet. It's weird.

Easy to use and efficient!
As someone said before, it's one of the apps every Android needs! Now waiting for Google to do their own similar and more optimized version so that useless tasks would stay dead..

We're looking GOOD
I'm still working on it, still loosing resource ground and I'm killing, but the application are restarting faster than I can KILL. WHAT'S UP???? IDK

Needs more work! Apps don't stay killed - and autokill doesn't do what it's supposed to do per the description. Many apps run all the time, even when I kill them manually they start back up immediately - and these are apps I only use once a month - usually just to pay my bill. Even setting autokill to 'crazy' & to autokill whenever the screen rests doesn't help... apps are still running.

Mind blower!
This app has save my family from a whole lot of fights. The games they play take a lot of data an 20days into my phone plan were shut off due to over usage of apps that turn themselves on when the kids are playing their games. This app here shuts it all down an saves me a lot of money. Thank you ,great fully,BARNES FAMILY!
